We are committed to explanatory, contextual and narrative journalism, where storytelling is not just about documenting the world around us, but also contributing to its reimagining.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Established in 2010 as Kosovo\u2019s very first blogging platform, K2.0 expanded and established itself as a critical and credible journalistic voice in the country and beyond. Over the years, K2.0 produced a number of theme-based print magazines before transitioning to an online magazine model. Throughout, we have always organized a diverse range of public events and non-formal education initiatives that we see as fundamental to our broader journalistic mission.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In short:<\/span><\/p><ul id=\"bulletpoint\"><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are a magazine focusing on explanatory, contextual and narrative journalism.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We remain independent from political parties and other forms of outside influence.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We work to uphold human rights through our editorial and dialogue programs.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We work to support critical debate in the fields of arts and culture through our journalism.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We organize a range of public programs that seek to inspire conversations about progressive, socially-engaged journalism, and about media, human rights and citizen-based activism.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We organize tailor-made non-formal educational programs to enhance young people&#8217;s critical thinking skills and to address gaps in the formal education system.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We work with a regional network of writers to publish articles that build and strengthen regional ties.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We cooperate with other media outlets and organizations in Kosovo and the region that uphold our journalistic values and principles.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are working to build a hybrid financial media model drawing on support from institutional donors and from the public in order to secure our long-term independence.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We go beyond Kosovo and the neighboring region to engage diaspora audiences wherever they are found.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We work in three languages: Albanian, Bosnian\/Croatian\/Serbian and English.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our <\/span><b>vision <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is a society that understands, questions and reimagines the world around us.
